1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the booking and use of venue, catering, décor and event management services offered by The Lee La Banquet & Farm ("we," "us," or "our"). By submitting an enquiry, paying a booking amount, or using our services, you ("client," "guest," or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not proceed with booking our venue or services.
2. Booking & Confirmation
- A venue date is considered tentative until a booking amount is received and confirmed by our team.
- Bookings are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. We do not guarantee date availability until confirmation is issued in writing or via receipt.
- The client is responsible for providing accurate event details, including guest count, event type and timing, at the time of booking.
- Any changes to the event date are subject to venue availability and must be requested in writing at least 15 days in advance.
3. Payment Terms
- A non-refundable booking amount is required to confirm and block your event date.
- The remaining balance must be paid according to the payment schedule agreed upon at the time of booking, with full and final payment due before or on the day of the event.
- Any additional services, guest count increases, or menu upgrades requested after the initial agreement will be billed separately and must be settled prior to the event.
- We accept payments via bank transfer, UPI, card, or cash as mutually agreed. All applicable taxes (GST, service charges, etc.) will be added to the final invoice.
4. Cancellation & Refunds
- The initial booking amount is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Cancellations made 30 days or more before the event date may be eligible for a partial refund of additional payments made, excluding the booking amount, at management's discretion.
- Cancellations made within 15 days of the event date will not be eligible for any refund of payments made.
- In the event of rescheduling, the booking amount may be adjusted toward a new available date, subject to availability and management approval.
- Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 15–20 business days through the original mode of payment.
5. Catering & Menu
- Final menu selections must be confirmed at least 7 days prior to the event date.
- Guest count for catering purposes must be confirmed at least 3 days before the event; billing will be based on the confirmed or actual count, whichever is higher.
- Outside food and beverages are not permitted unless expressly agreed in writing, except in cases involving religious or dietary requirements discussed in advance.
- We are not responsible for food-related allergies or reactions unless specific dietary requirements were clearly communicated and confirmed in writing prior to the event.
6. Décor & Outside Vendors
- Clients may choose our in-house décor packages or bring an external decorator, subject to prior approval from our team.
- External vendors (decorators, photographers, DJs, etc.) must adhere to venue guidelines, timing restrictions and safety norms communicated by our staff.
- Any damage caused to the venue by an external vendor's equipment, material or personnel will be the responsibility of the client.
- Open flames, fireworks or hazardous materials require prior written approval and may be subject to additional safety deposits.
7. Guest Conduct
The client is responsible for the conduct of their guests throughout the event. The management reserves the right to remove any guest or vendor engaging in disorderly, unsafe or abusive behavior, without liability for any resulting inconvenience.
8. Venue Usage & Timing
- The venue is booked for the specific date, time slot and hall/lawn area agreed upon at the time of confirmation.
- Events extending beyond the agreed time slot may incur additional charges, subject to availability of the venue for subsequent bookings.
- Decoration and setup access timings will be communicated in advance and must be adhered to.
- Smoking and consumption of alcohol, where permitted, are restricted to designated areas only, in compliance with applicable local laws.
9. Liability & Damages
- The Lee La Banquet & Farm is not liable for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings of guests or vendors during the event.
- The client shall be responsible for any damage caused to venue property, furniture, fixtures or equipment by guests, vendors or contractors engaged by the client.
- A refundable security deposit may be collected for certain bookings, to be adjusted against any damages found after the event.
- Our total liability, if any, arising from any claim related to the event shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the booking.
10. Force Majeure
We shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, power outages, fire, or public health emergencies. In such cases, we will work with the client in good faith to reschedule the event or arrive at a fair resolution.
11. Photography & Media Usage
We may photograph or record events hosted at our venue for promotional purposes, including our website, social media and marketing materials. If you do not wish for your event to be photographed or featured, please inform our team in writing prior to the event date.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Patna, Bihar.
13. Changes To These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
